The visit, which begins on Saturday, comes ahead of Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari's trip to Beijing that is expected to see China finalizing the sale of two nuclear power reactors to Islamabad.
External affairs minister S.M. Krishna will be on a four day visit to Mauritius and Mozambique, beginning Saturday, to shore up ties with African nations.

In 2002, then prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had first laid the foundation stone for the project. The 9km horse shoe shaped tunnel would enable civilians and the Armed Forces access to the border areas of Ladakh.
